Starting with the Ottawa Police Service in 2002, Julie Kavanagh has over 20 years of experience developing her strategic communications skills specific to law enforcement. Using her extensive experience with social media and strategic messaging, Julie designs and implements communications strategies and tactics tailored to key stakeholder groups. Julie leads the Ottawa Police’s communications team during emergencies and large-scale events and demonstrations, both planned and unplanned.
Julie is also pursuing a combined Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Policing.
